Tanya Handy, project manager/lead copywriter, keeps current in direct response marketing through American Writers & Artists Institute based in Delray Beach, Florida, and via other continuing education opportunities. Ms. Handy holds an Associate’s degree (technical communications) from Houston Community College. Additionally, as an English-Creative Writing major and Advertising minor, Ms. Handy has completed bachelor’s-level coursework at the University of Houston.

Direct response copy drives prospects to respond in measurable ways. Prospects might be asked to make a purchase, download information or visit a web link. Direct response does not compel readers to remember the product the way that brand (image) advertising does.
